I was born in Redwood Falls and moved to Alexandria, MN when I was 5 years old. I met my husband, Adam, right after graduating high school in 2002. We are now blessed with 4 amazing children: Abby (12), Luke (10), Emma (6), and Will (5).
My credentials to date include:
- AAS degree as a Health and Fitness Specialist from the Alexandria Technical and Community College
- NSCA-CPT (Certified Personal Trainer)
- NASM-WLS (Weight Loss Specialist)
- PN1 Coach (Precision Nutrition)
- AHA CPR/AED and First Aid certified (American Heart Association)
I have ran 2 half marathons and numerous 5k’s, 10k’s, and 10 mile races. I broadened my horizons by competing in a powerlifting competition in 2014 – I wasn’t the heaviest lifter, but wow the atmosphere and camaraderie felt that day were unforgettable! I’ve also gone on 2 annual weekend long guided trail running trips up on the technical terrains of Duluth- covering 25+ miles of crazy fun! I like to always have a personal goal for myself to train towards- it keeps things exciting and new!
Best Part About my Job
Watching the life changing moments when clients go from viewing fitness and personal health as something they “have” to do, to something they “want” to do! Once this transformation happens – crazy awesome things start to happen- physically and emotionally. The confidence radiates and its contagious!
