About

Welcome to the site.

Let’s begin with introductions, it’s only right.  My name is Trevor Wittwer.  I am the hands behind this work in progress.

This site is dedicated to those who simply don’t take life as it comes.  Those who actively seek ways to improve their body, mind, and spirit.  This may be through athletic enhancement, cutting out gluten, learning to meditate or the all important quest to look good naked.  Unlike most, I speak to those who are not satisfied with seeking and blind consumption but those who want to take definitive action steps toward their goals, measure progress, and continue to improve.  Consuming is easy, action takers are few and far between.

So what, where did I come from?

Well, I graduated, summa cum laude (I have to throw that in because where else can I use it?) from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2008 with a degree in Health and Fitness and a minor in Coaching.  Immediately upon graduation I became certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

I currently run Wittwer Training Systems, LLC based in rural Minnesota but my home base is literally anywhere in the world.  My second job is a professional basketball player, right now trying to put the ball in the hoop in Germany.  I am obsessed, I mean close to mental disorder obsessed, with health, fitness, nutrition, and anything else related to hacking one’s life.

The primary purpose of this site is to educate and provide a resource for my clients.  They are the ones who are making RADICAL changes in their lives everyday and trust me to give them advice that will make their progress as fast and efficient as possible.  Note, I didn’t say easy, because body and behavior change are two of the hardest endeavors an individual can embark on.

Think about the mental fortitude it takes to lose 100 pounds, that is almost an entire person.  I have seen people do it.

Why do most fail?

Knowledge? Nope, its not the knowledge.  Most people know what they need to do to be successful in something.

Lack of Accountability and Social Support? Now we are getting down to the real answers.  This site gives me one more way to provide accountability and support to my clients.  It also opens up our support circle to anyone else that wants to make changes in his or her life.

Welcome to the community.
