Think you have to wait to get in shape before you join Functional Fitness? Long-time member, Peggy Groebner, proves you wrong. When Peggy joined FF, she couldn’t hold a plank longer than 3 seconds. Now she can hold a 2 minute plank, front squat two 12k kettlebells (26.4lb each) for 15 reps, and hip thrust over 100lb.
How has Peggy made such an improvement? Consistency. She trains semi-private 2x/wk and often attends a team training session once a week as well. Peggy has had her ups and downs, but she has never let her falls keep her down. Consistency is key & we are happy to highlight all the hard work Peggy has put in over the last 5 years!
